Binay, Villar Gain Big in Latest Survey

United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) senatorial candidate Nancy Binay and Team PNoy's Cynthia Villar gained big in the April pre-election Social Weather Stations survey, sharing the third and fourth spots.

The two female senatorial candidates both earned 49 percent of votes during the survey period April 13 to 15, climbing from their ranks on fifth to seventh spots with 47 percent of votes in last month's survey.

Villar, slowly regained her position in the chart from her January drop to ninth in the rankings, while Binay also climbed from 12th place in January.

Villar and Binay also traded places with UNA's JV Ejercito whose rank fell to 7th to 8th spots, tied with re-electionist Senator Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III.

The same survey, meanwhile, showed that re-electionist Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero continued to drop from the coveted second spot to the fifth.

President Benigno Aquino III's cousin, Liberal Party's Benigno "Bam" Aquino IV, also advanced from 10th to 6th in the senate race.

Edgardo "Sonny" Angara, who is also running under Liberal Party, gained three spots from 12th to 9th.

While Liberal Party's Grace Poe Llamanzares retained her position at 10th to 11th, she now shares the rank with fellow Liberal Party candidate, re-electionist Senator Antonio "Sonny" Trillanes IV, with 39 percent of potential votes.

Jack Enrile and re-electionist Gregorio Honasan, both running under the banner of UNA, occupy the last two places of the "Magic 12."

The survey among 1,800 representative voters nationwide sought to find the preferred senatorial candidates of the voters leading to the May polls.

Paeng Diaz, Serbisyong Ganap, Serbisyong Lubos!

Bukod dito, si Paeng ay naging Municipal Administrator ng San Mateo (Rizal); President and Chief Executive Officer, JFD Construction and Development Corporation; Stock Broker, Urban Corporation Investments, Inc., Makati Stock Exchange; Financial Credit Analyst, Far Eastern bank and Trust Company, Makati City; at naging Analyst for Visayas and Mindanao Regional Offices, Far East Bank and Trust Company.

Patunay na hindi pabayang alkalde si Paeng ay ang mga parangal na tinanggap niya tulad ng mga sumusunod; “Bakas Parangal ng Kabayanihan” (Award is granted to the leader of a group that exhibited exemplary acts of heroism beyond their call of duty, upholding the core values of their responsibility to reach out to those in times of disasters.); “DepEd Partners Recognition LGU Stakeholders” (A recognition given by the Department of Education to Local executives that have very significant contribution in classroom construction and other critical support to public education.); at “Seal of Disaster Preparedness” (Conferred by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) to local government which demonstrates an acceptable level of disaster preparedness and disaster preparedness response before and during calamities, as an official symbol of excellence).
